[ Pickles holds out his paw to put on top of Karlach's hand. Shake!! Pickles makes a high pitched dog sound in response to that last statement in a "i dont think so" vibe. ]

You settling in okay, though? Looks like we'll be here for a bit.

[ There are some dog whining sounds as he continues to shake hands (paw).

The puppy thinks there is physical and intellectual strength in numbers. ]

Me too, honestly.

[she puts his paw down gently.]

We'll get through it together. More heads are better than one, and all that.

[ He seems glad about Karlach's response.

The puppy wishes for you to have a safe adjustment period. ]

[ Pickles gives a slight nod in response while wagging his tail.

The puppy finds his housemates tolerable. ]

Just tolerable! [she says, laughing.]

[ ?! ]

[ The puppy meant to say that in a good way.

He can't even blame his translator, because it was accurate. ]

[still laughing help her but]

Yeah, I figured. That thing doesn't do nuance so well. [a beat.] As long as they treat you good.
